Maybe the ads were paid for with the sale of the $12,000 Colnago racing bike that Fenty was given by the race organizers...oh wait - he still has the bike.

Mt Vernon Trail at the Crystal City exit has that pavement marker advertising the new bike repair place

Nice sign, I agree with warning before passing but that's only part of the issue. The main issue is all types of users entering, exiting and U-turning on the trail looking and making sure it is clear to do so.
Saftey is is the responsibilty of ALL trail users.
