Let's be honest - this trail runs through some pretty rough neighborhoods, especially between NY and RI ave's. How anyone thought an electronic device placed in anything short of a military grade armored and locked case would remain in place is just a bit naive in my opinion.

the Met Branch trail runs through an area of underdeveloped human beings, which have been failed by this culture's educational system. Much of the area suffers from economic apartheid. Expect vandalism, crime, etc..

What's the market like for an infrared trail counter? My guess is the thing is in the nearest dumpster.

It sure does suck how these people's own choices and poor behavior have made their neighborhood unlivable! Oh, wait, I'm sorry, the Man *made* them come steal other people's things. It's not their fault!
