Anyone planning on going to the open house with NPS today?
- DCist has a summary of a 1937 Post article about a bike commuter who rode to the Public Health Service building on Constitution avenue. He had two crashes, with the second sending him to the hospital with a fractured leg.
- Del. Norton on NoMa: "Now, with everything from a Harris Teeter to a Metro and six Bikeshare stations, a daytime population of 40,000, and 1,400 new residents, NoMa is alive both day and night,"
- Ward 5 residents at a recent community meeting "noted that they prefer recreational centers in Ward 5 instead of bike lanes and dog parks.



Why are we naming DC neighborhoods after former Boston Red Sox players? (Imagine someone saying Nomar with a Bah-sten accent.)
