With the Iraq War now over I just want to take a brief moment to thank all the men and women who served their country over there. Welcome home. This does not include my friend Rick who met his lovely wife there and considers the war the best thing that ever happened to him. He's gotten plenty out of it and doesn't need any thanks.

Id like to apologize to all those who *directly* served in the military during the Iraq...whatever it was. It was a waste of time, and lives.
It is so embarrassing to be an American these days, as it has been for over thirty years..
If the USA had anything approaching the kind of social justice and economic democracy it claims to, it wouldn't have to fills its military with the economically unviable, and educationally impoverished...
And I hope my comment here is low-level enough so that even someone with Jeff Peel's social-class insecurities can understand it...
If the USA didnt waste so much money on the military there could, perhaps, be better cancer treatment, etc...as well as bike paths that are repaved more than every THIRTY years...

My head hurts trying to understand trolls. Both the troll story being linked (wait, who's who and what happened?), and Hell No I Won't Go...
Maybe their comments need to be even more low-level for me...
