Good afternoon
- Something Cyclists and Motorists can agree on: DC's roads need improvement.
- Cycletracks on L Street are scheduled for installation this summer. M Street will follow (though not sure when). And TBD has updates on other bike lanes planned.
- The Post has a major travel article on riding the Great Allegheny Passage. I absolutely want to do this ride at some point. Travel details and photos too.

I'm not sure what crushed limestone is, so if anyone has ridden the whole way to pittsburgh: is this a path that a road bike can take the whole way?

Dan, have you been on the C&O Canal trail? That has crushed limestone. I've ridden it with a road bike, but you're better off with fatter tires.

Crushed limestone is doable on a road bike as long as it's dry (several state trails in Minnesota are crushed limestone). But it can turn into a "lighter shade of mud" when it's wet.
