VDOT is looking for some nice photos of cyclists in Virginia for the Bicycling in Virginia map and so I'm asking photographers to upload their photos to the washcycle flickr group. What do you win if your photo is chosen? The following
- Your photo will on the cover, or possibly the inside, of the VDOT Bicycling in Virginia map.
That's the end of the list. But that's pretty cool, right? You'll also get a free map if you ask for it [Anyone can get a free Bicycling in Virginia map if they ask for it]
Specifically, they are looking for modern photos and they'd like photos of people on Capital Bikeshare and/or the Mount Vernon Trail. Casually dressed/utility cyclist is a plus. Though they didn't say so, I suspect helmeted cyclists are more likely to be included. They're also looking for diversity in all its forms. I'm not sure of the deadline, so let's say next week.

What's the deadline? I'm actually hoping on doing a photo-walk along the MVT sometime in April or May.

Oops... just read that last bit. Yeah not sure I can help out by next week- my Virginia photos are a bit light :)
