DC Council Candidate David Grosso's campaign staff writes:
A member of WABA, David will commute to work on Bike Share, along with supporters from his campaign as part of Bike to Work Day. They'll be gathering on 5/18 at 7:30 at 9th and Monroe NE - across the street from Colonel Brooks at the Bikeshare station, and will ride the Metropolitan Branch Trail to NoMa at M Street between 1st and 2nd Street NE. David is a life-long bike enthusiast and appreciates the role that bikes play in transit infrastructure, as well as the importance of supporting multiple forms of sustainable transit.
You may already have plans of your own that morning, but if not, we invite you to join David and his crew. It presents a unique opportunity to get to know a D.C. Council candidate and hear his views on how he'd improve quality of life for District residents, and how supporting myriad forms of sustainable transit fits into that vision.
You can follow our promotion of the event here at @GrossoAtLarge (Twitter) and http://www.facebook.com/grossoatlarge if you cannot join us in person.
This is not an endorsement (I don't endorse candidates) just informational.
