Sad news. I met him on a ride he had organized to promote the Met Branch Trail concept and to show off the few bits that had been built. He repeated that he was not a young man and wished to live to ride on the completed trail. Sad that MD and DC never took that idea to heart. Instead they stumbled along with their low priority efforts. Thanks and best wishes to his family.
