This local group is collecting old/used bikes of any size to ship to charities and non-governmental organizations in several African countries. It is a tax deductible organization and you will get a receipt when you donate a bike. Questions, contact Dixie Duncan 703-919-0570.

Bike Collection, to be shipped to charities and non-governmental organizations in Africa, organized by 13-year-old Winston Duncan, will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Drop off locations are Swanson Middle School, 5800 N. Washington Blvd., Yorktown High School, 5201 N. 28th St. in Arlington, and George Washington Middle School, 1005 Mount Vernon Ave., Alexandria.
