Someone sneaked into the old Wonder Bread Factory and found it full of old bicycles. PoP thought it might be a chop shop for stolen bicycles, but as several commenters point out, they're most likely leftover bicycles from the, now closed, Shaw EcoVillage bike shop. Still someone should organize a mass recovery/donation to Bikes for the World. Douglas Development is the owner now I think.
It was indeed storage for Chain Reaction before Shaw Eco Village folded. If memory serves correct, the salvagable stuff was picked up by Phoenix Bikes and/or Bikes for the World. The rest should have been at least recycled properly.

far as I know, neither phoenix nor BftW has touched it - but looks like what's left now probably isn't worth refurbishing.
maybe better than a mass donation, a mass art project, or something like that big bike arch in Toronto.
Or just leave it for urban explorers to discover every year or so. almost as fun.
