A Slate article on Dutch Bikes. (seen it before in the NY Times and on BikePortland)

A WSJ article on people who had their bikes stolen and found it on the internet (heard it on NPR and saw it in the Post and the City Paper) Right now, I mean right now, take a picture of yourself with your bicycle. If it gets stolen (the bicycle, not the picture) send it to me (the picture, not the bicycle) and I'll put it up on the blog and maybe you'll get it back and you'll buy me a beer. The WSJ article does mention a new tool

"Harder times mean more thefts," says Bryan Hance, founder of StolenBicycleRegistry.com, where people can list their stolen bikes free. Last month, the site received 335 listings, about twice as many as a year ago. "Bikes are a lot more expensive than they were five or 10 years ago," he adds. "The fact that they are worth more makes them more of a target."
