In addition to being a Bicycle Friendly Community Honorable Mention, they also won Montgomery County's Advocates for Alternative Commuting Excellence award.
The award is recognition of the city's efforts to mitigate traffic congestion and poor air quality by promoting commuting alternatives like Bike to Work Day and providing a Zip Car in Town Center.
