Who the heck would ever use a bike valet? Seriously, I don't understand that whole concept. Can someone explain it to me?

Thousands of people used them at the inauguration. They come in handy when a large number of cyclists overwhelm the existing parking infrastructure. That way you park 500 bikes on a tennis court instead of locking them to every sign and parking meter in a three block radius.
