Bicycles to Benefit DC Youth

Donate a new or gently used bike

 

The C&O Canal National Historical Park is seeking donations of 20 bicycles that are in good shape and large enough to be ridden by children, aged 7 or older, and adults.  They will be used as part of an interpretive program that will bring children from at-risk neighborhoods in Washington, DC, into the park.  The bicycles will allow the children to explore the C&O Canal Towpath while they learn about the cultural and natural resources of the park.
