That would be great if it weren't for the 300 feet of cobblestones. Are they doing anything about that?

I got a buck says no way. Anyone know how far this is supposed to extend? If it went all the way down to waterfront metro...wow! that would be sweet for my ride.

All the way to M St SW.

Excellent! Everytime they create another connection through the SE-SW freeway, an angel gets its wings.

Just pretend you're doing Paris-Roubaix when you ride over that section/

I was going to mention Paris-Roubaix too. Here's a recent blog post from another site about "How To Ride the Cobbles" although it's more about racing on the cobbles.

While we're getting rid of the cobblestones, let's just raze the National Gallery. I just hate the way that 6th St. just dead-ends there.
