just a quick note, I think you mean 4th st. SW

I'm not concerned with parking as I live a couple blocks away. I ride this stretch every day. It's so fantastic to have 4th st reopened that I hardly care about all the problems. That drainage ditch really seems like a huge hazard though. During the day they put orange cones on the grates probably for pedestrians but it seems just a matter of time before a late-night endo happens. Really pretty stupid set-up in my opinion. Also, there are always cars in the bike lanes. always. I pretty much take the street through most of this.
