The photo reminds me I should think about stopping at Gravelly Point every once in a while on my commute home and watch the air traffic instead of "flying" on by every day. It is a pretty cool spot.

Even better than Gravelly Point is riding the trail about 1/2 mile south where the secondary runway ends. I've had 737s and commuter jets surprise me as they pass directly overhead.
