I believe that was on his mission. Mormon youth on their mission year still use bicycles a lot, although now they're usually mountain-bike style.

I'm sure NPS replacing those bridges is just an excuse to bring some ATVs onto the MVT. Remember, you heard it on WASHCYCLE first....
Did GWB did anything for mountain bikers?
