Bah humbug: There is something absurd about solar charging an electric bike: a very expensive solution to a problem, which is to just use the pedals.

@SJE,
The bikes hanging there are not electric. They are cheap bikes from Walmart.
But I agree they might have been placed there to suggest using the charging station to also power up your bikes.
I'm in favor of anything that replaces sole occupancy vehicle use.
The Solar Decathlon is a neat event and I urge everybody who can to get down to see it this weekend.
