Congrats on the anniversary. WashCycle is my first stop of the day on bike blog/forum/news reading. Keep up the most diligent & exquisite work.

Two words: Birthday Spankings!

Congrats on the anniversary!

Re: fixed gear bikes in Paris. I thought fixed gear culture was "closed"

You should do a Google logo-type deal, where you transform the WashCycle logo on anniversary dates. Maybe a stylized image of Independence Day fireworks exploding over the Mall, with cyclists (and CaBi stations?) in the image too.

Or maybe link to the posts from each Sept. 30 of each year, from 2005 to 2010.

Everyone else makes a big deal out of anniversaries. You can too!

I was going to make a big deal about it (but not the logo thing) but the internet outage put the kibosh on that.

If you switched to DC Access, I just want to throw my 2 cents in: I've used them for 4 years now, and last night's was the only extended outage in all that time. They've been incredibly responsive. Sometimes the worst case scenario happens. Bad timing for WC, though.

(If you're not talking about DC Access, then nevermind...)

:)

Whoa! Parisian youth culture picking up on some tired cultural meme from the US that was played out years ago? Who knew?
