How is it not Friday yet?
- Politics and Prose is hosting a reading of Wheels of Change: How women rode the bicycle to freedom (with a few flat tires along the way) by Sue Macy tomorrow at 4pm.
- According to wamu, Metro police also had some bikes locked durinig their sting operation. "Plain clothes Metro Transit Police officers placed a bicycle on the racks at the station, and then watched as the suspect attempted to break the lock before arresting the individual."
- Dan Reed argues that an on-street CCT in Bethesda might be better than the tunnel. I see what he's saying, but I like the speed that the tunnel provides. If it goes away, I'll miss it. If I were a business-owner along the route though, I'd be praying that the trail goes on-road.
Re: Metro Transit Police also using locked bait bikes.
That makes me happy.

I am totally opposed to the on-street alternative. Watch for my counterpost on GGW in the near future.
