• Adams Morgan Streetscape rebuild, adn its 71 new bike racks,  is done. 
• Sen. Barbara Boxes insists that the new tranportation bill doesn't cut money for biking and walking. Speaker John Boehner brags that it does. Cycling advocates agree with Boehner. 
• "Last weekend, Milwaukee hosted the second annual North American Bike Polo Championships, whose sponsors included Pabst Blue Ribbon and bike polo apparel company Northern Standard." Bike polo was a demonstration sport at the 1908 Olympics.
