City Paper's Best Local Bike Blog 2009
I found this inspiring, but I want to know they prevent the bikes from being stolen! Both parent's cargo bikes are too big to be hauled up stairs to a city rowhouse. Do they entrust them to the bike rack on the street?

My theory is that cargo bikes, at least in DC, are pretty low-risk for theft. They can't be easily thrown it in the back of a pickup truck. The resell market is probably nothing like trad'l bikes and if you do try to re-sell it, it's unique enough that it could probably be tracked down relatively easy.
