Good morning
- Metro studies stations where customers are driving from 1-3 miles away and asking "So why are so many people from this area driving?"
- More on the Nice Bridge Replacement that will not come any time soon. There are a lot of people pushing for a new Potomac crossing, unfortunately, it's not this one.
Good to see Metro studying the issue. For the Forest Glen station, which is a few miles from my house, the issue is mostly MDOT: GA Ave is not welcoming to bikes. Even the sidewalk is in bad shape. I see that one of the commentators on the Metro site made the same point.

I have now posted my thoughts to the WMATA site, and see some Washcycle regulars are already onboard.

It's clear Metro is using Bing for mapping, since the map incorrectly, and amusingly, identifies the area south of Plyers Mill Road as "Players Mill Estates".
The density appears to me to pretty well map the topography, indicating that people who drive would have to walk or bike up a significant hill to get to the Metro.
