When the Police are involved in a ride they always manage to make cycling look dangerous with all the lights and traffic control.

@ Michael: somewhat ironically, most of the actual crash incidents during the Police Unity Tour have involved the motor unit escorts, not riders.

The motor unit escorts moving through residential Capitol Hill were self-closing intersections before their approach as if they were local law enforcement with authority to do so. Like a funeral procession with armed pallbearers. I am not a fan.
