DC Pedicab, the area's most experienced and established tricycle pedicab leasing fleet (since 2006) is looking for a part-time mechanic-contractor to maintain and improve our fleet of sixteen Mainstreet cabs at our shop at Farragut Square in Downtown, DC. Bike shop wrenching experience is a must; pedicab wrenching experience is a plus. Either way, you must be able to hit the ground running, and be able to repair every aspect of the cabs, to include mechanical components, the fiberglass body, and electrical lighting system.
Pay range is $22-$28 per hour depending on experience and qualifications As a part of a compensation package, a dedicated, reserved monthly lease of a insured pedicab, or daily cab rentals are also negotiable. All tools and equipment needed to repair the cabs are provided by the company, and a locking personal storage area is available.
