I want to point out that this is not a joke. Nor is this business affliated with this blog. But I support businesses that want to use bikes for transportation. And as an Eagles fan, I think it's pretty cool that they do their laundry too.
Wash Cycle Laundry, Philadelphia’s sustainable laundry and dry cleaning service that delivers by bicycle, will begin service in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, May 27. This triple bottom line company will fittingly ride bicycles for the launch, departing from Philadelphia’s City Hall and arriving in the Nation’s Capital, towing a trailer-equipped bicycle outfitted for deliveries.
Wash Cycle Laundry’s management team will leave Philadelphia on Sunday morning, May 25 and ride 120 miles to Washington D.C. to arrive for the start of service Tuesday, May 27. A send-off event will be held Friday, May 23 at 11am in the courtyard at City Hall. Invited guests include city officials, current customers, and community partners who will all be asked to put one Philly-centric item into Wash Cycle Laundry’s bike trailer to take to Washington, D.C. Reporters and cameras welcome. Once arriving in Washington D.C., media are invited to visit the company’s base of laundry operations on Tuesday, May 27 at 2pm at 3100 Mt. Pleasant Ave and accompany the team on initial laundry pick-ups.“We’re thrilled to expand Wash Cycle Laundry from Philadelphia to Washington, D.C.” says Founder and CEO Gabriel Mandujano. “We’ve seen tremendous growth here in Philadelphia this year - from launching dry cleaning services, to adding electric-assist tricycles to our bicycle fleet, to welcoming team members. Now, we’re excited to see what the Nation’s Capital thinks of our bicycle laundry company.”
Since June 2013, the company has more than tripled in size. Commercial clients for Wash Cycle Laundry include local universities, the Philadelphia Eagles, and a major hospital, local small businesses from crossfit gyms to organic spas and salons, and hundreds of residential consumers at their homes, offices, and hotels each month. With the launch of dry cleaning services earlier this year, expanded delivery hours, a 30% staffing increase, and the enhancements to the cycling fleet, the company is poised to take on its first new market outside of Philadelphia.

I do. But it's like Delta faucets and Delta airlines. Two different businesses.
