I think the trial lawyer guy meant changes in traffic laws and education for car drivers - Not.

I'm struggling to understand what the trial lawyers don't like about this approach, aside from the fact that it will change the precedential value of all cases that have come before this under the old law. Sure, they are a lazy group, but it seems they will have plenty of work here if the law changes, while working for cyclists.

Now, if the trial lawyers really are the tools of the insurance companies, then I understand.
