As of an alert today
Today, it is with a great sense of pride in our accomplishments and in recognition of the need for new priorities and new challenges—both for WABA, and for me—that I write to tell you that at the end of June I will be stepping down as WABA’s Executive Director. There is only so long one’s transportation, recreation, and occupation can overlap so significantly before one’s mind starts to look outside for new things to learn, new challenges to address, and new ways to contribute.
Wow, you'll be missed Shane! You've done such a great job.

Thanks Shane for all of your hard work. I think the rest of us forget how much the job demands of its leaders in terms of time, commitment, and always being "on". Best wishes for fruitful and happy future.

At least this reminded me to renew, so thanks, Shane.

This is a loss for DC. Shane has been a great leader at WABA.

Shane, should you have half the success, using half the effort in your next position as compared to both with WABA: it will be twice what we mere mortals can do. Thanks for all you've done to make my cycling safe and pleasurable!
