VA really needs to do this. Even though jurisdictions like DC have the law and you'd still get doored daily if you rode in the door zone, at least you'd have some chance at collecting damages for healthcare. Except for contributory negligence, which riding in the door zone could be, even though that's where the lanes are. So confused.

When in doubt, best to just stay uninjured in this country.
