Along with several other locations along the Mt. Vernon Trail. Via NBC4
Arlington County recently approved the addition of eight stations, bringing the number of stations from along the parkway from one to nine. Federal funds the county received will help pay for the stations.
The county has proposed the following Capital Bikeshare station locations:
- Arlington National Cemetery
- Pentagon
- Parking lot serving the parkway and Theodore Roosevelt Island
- Gravelly Point Park
- Crystal City
- Rosslyn
- Joint Base Myer/Henderson Hall
- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport
Installation is expected to begin next summer and will take a year to complete.
Depending on where the DCA station is, it could be a real benefit to employees and passengers alike.
I am looking forward to finding out how many people would take ride share from the airport

I would take CaBi to the airport when meeting someone flying into DCA (although I would probably take Metro on the return trip). I would also bike there for some of my own trips/flight out of DCA.
I've heard other people say the same thing, that they would like to bike to/from DCA but they don't want to leave a personal bike locked up outside for days at a time.

I've biked to DCA to buy tickets with a voucher (which has to be done in person - for some reason) and I once left my bike there for a week to catch an early morning flight (but I was so nervous about it that I had anxiety dreams). CaBi would be much better for that.

Short trips, short flights (carry on only)--it's a lock. You don't have to worry about finding a parking space or paying for a cab or van. Metro works for some, but if there isn't a stop near your house, you probably won't use it.

This might be the thing that pushes me into subscribing to CABI. When I used to travel a lot I would bike to DCA, I had a roll-aboard that would fit on the back of my bike. I was never comfortable leaving my bike there, the bike parking is very sketchy.
I find that biking is the most time-consistent mode of transportation, you don't have to worry about traffic or Metro. If you fall behind you can make it up by pedaling faster. So there's less anxiety about missing your flight.
