DDOT announced last week that the next meeting on the Eastern Downtown Protected Bike Lanes Study would be held in early 2016.Between now and the next public meeting, DDOT will:
- Document and analyze all comments received from the public to date
- Conduct more in-depth analysis of impacts for the alternatives (including parking and traffic impacts)
- Reach out to the residents and stakeholders that we were not able to engage before our first public meeting
As I understand it from the BAC meeting, the plan was to trim from 4 alternatives to 3, and then do another round of analysis and planning; but now they're going to do that analysis and planning on all 4 alternatives and bring that with them to the next meeting.
They also sent out a link to all the boards that they had for the last open house, the ones no one really looked at. There is information on parking inventory, use by mode, traffic, etc... for those who want to wade into it.
