When the Virginia Avenue Tunnel project in SE is complete in 2018, the new streetscape will include a bike path on the south side. Below is an animation of what it will look like.

Cool, but the bike path looks like it goes up and down at every driveway. This is really poor bike design. Basically, it looks like the designed a sidewalk and then added bicycle striping, instead of designing an actual bicycle path. Sadly, this will be set in concrete and will be incredibly hard to change.
We've got a LONG way to go.

I only see 2 driveways though - east of 8th Street. I think that part is still TBD since they're waiting on a plan for the Virginia Avenue Park. But we should try to get them to design to the level of the cycletrack.
Do you want the path built at the level of the street, or do you want all crossings to be at the level of the path, or just at driveways?
