The Lutheran Social Services refugee program located in Petworth is in possession of around 30 kids Huffy bikes that need assembly and trouble shooting. The bikes need things like brake adjustments, pedals installed, tubes patched or replaced.
Once assembled and QCed, the bikes can go to refugee kids. They need 4-6 people to help for about 2 - 3 hours to get it done. If you'd like to help, they're going to be working this Wednesday night 5/24 at 6pm. Contact whandsfield @georgetowndc.com to let him know you're available.
