The Kemp Mill Urban Park, just off the Sligo Creek Trail, was recently renovated. In the original plans there was no bicycle infrastructure at all, but when it went to bid there was a requirement for bike parking in two locations.
Second, the county improved a tiny connector between the two communities on Rokeby Avenue in Kensington. The connector has been repaved and straightened with a guardrail added in. It also looks a bit wider.
Thanks to Jeff for the photos and the information.
You really don't need much to make the community feel all that much more inclusive. What fantastic little additions!
