A group of Maryland legislators have introduced a bill requiring the state DOT to study pedestrian and bicycle access to public schools.
FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Transportation to study and make certain recommendations regarding pedestrian and bicycle access to public schools in the State; requiring the Department to report its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly on or before a certain date; providing for the termination of this Act; and generally relating to a study of pedestrian and bicycle access to public schools in the State.
