For over a year now, Arlington County has been working on an update to it's master plan, including the bicycle element. An advisory group that has been drafting that element now plans to wrap that up and have the final version approved by the end of this year. You can see the latest draft of the plan here.
Since the last check-in back in January, they've been working on phase 2 of the project which has been heavy on outreach and feedback which they've been using to modify the draft.
They've also been putting together a list of projects to include in the plan and figuring out how to prioritize them. Here, for example is a list of everything that's already in the Capital Improvements Plan for FY2019-2028. It includes things like the currently under-construction Washington Boulevard Trail Phase 2; protected bike lanes on Wilson, N. Quincy and N. Veitch, the Boundary Drive-MVT connection, the Army-Navy Country Club Connector and 25 other projects.
There's also a list of 28 new projects, listed below, but with more description here.

And this is all being fed into an appendix for the plan, and the map at the lovely hand-drawn map at the top which you can get on a t-shirt sold at the commuter store (OK, not really). Note there are things in the appendix that are not in either of the above lists, this includes:
- Route 110 Trail - which has been planned for a LONG time
- Four Mile Run Bridge and trail widening
- Iwo Jima Memorial Connection to Theodore Roosevelt Bridge
- Mount Vernon Trail Extension - mostly bike lanes and on-street until the edge of the county
- Mount Vernon Trail Widening
- Roosevelt Bridge to Mt. Vernon Trail connection
- W&OD Trail widening and improvements
- And a lot more
They're still taking comments (here, on the right under "Get Involved")
That's a nice map. Gives you a good sense of the big picture for bikes without needing to go back and forth to the key so much.
